Creating My Home Cinema Area
My 'Home Cinema Area' is a rectangular area in a room that has a clear space without any walls interfering.
The minimum width of this Media Room Area is 12'. The minimum depth is from 11.5' to 17'.
Step 1: Center Location of My 4K TV & Where I Sit To Watch TV
Find an area of the wall my 4K TV set currently resides that is at least 12 feet wide without any windows.
Then center my TV and where I sit to be at least 6 feet from either side of the wall I have designated.

Note: if I use a HD TV in my media room, then I must upgrade to a 4K TV to enable a Cinematic TV experience Why? A HD TV set - with its much lower resolution - requires sitting distances way outside of a Cinematic Viewing experience
Step 2: Center Height of My 4K TV To Match Height Of My Viewing Eyes
I now need to make sure my TV is at the right height so that my eyes are looking straight at the center of the screen.
Here are the heights from the floor to the bottom of the screen bezel: 65" = 29" 75" = 26" 85" = 22".
Step 3: Match My Viewing Distance To My 4K TV Size
Now that I have centered My 4K TV on the wall in my media room area, I now must adjust the distance my seat is from the the front of the TV set. The closer my seating is to my TV set, the more cinematic my experience.
There are two tradeoffs I must learn: 1) Size vs viewing angle vs viewing distance
From the Viewing Distance to 4K TV Size chart below, find the viewing distance range for my 4K TV set.

I have already adjust my seating so its centered on my 4K TV. Now I should see if I can shift my seating closer to my 4K TV. The most common issue is that I am sitting beyond the recommended Maximum distance. In this case, I MUST - NO QUESTIONS ASKED - MOVE MY SEATING to be between the recommended Minimum and Maximum distances.
If on the other hand - which rarely occurs - my seating is closer that the minimum distance, then I move it back a bit.

Cinematic TV Viewing: 2 Variables: TV Set Size & My Viewing Distance
Now that I have centered My 4K TV on the wall in my media room area, I now must adjust the distance my seat is from the the front of the TV set. The closer my seating is to my TV set, the more cinematic my experience.

% of Cinematic TV Experience Obtained:
TV Set Size vs. Viewing Distance
7' 8' 9' 10' 11' 12'
65" 100% 90% 80% 70%
75" 100% 90% 80% 70%
85" 100% 90% 80% 70%

Moving Closer To My 4K TV
Since the typical TV-viewer has a 65" 4K TV, this diagram shows the visual difference between sitting 7' vs. 10' from the TV. There is a 70% Cinematic TV reduction via 3' delta.
